About:
Grown near the town of Shakiso in Ethiopia’s Guji Zone, this exquisite natural lot from the Gigesa Washing Station delivers a cup bursting with sweet fruit and floral clarity. Smallholder farmers deliver ripe cherries that are carefully sorted and dried on raised beds for 15–18 days, preserving remarkable vibrancy and clean complexity.
Expect lush blueberry and cherry notes balanced by delicate jasmine florals and a smooth milk chocolate finish. The combination of high altitude, heirloom varietals, and traditional natural processing gives this coffee its signature elegance and aromatic depth.
Nestled in the southern highlands of Oromia, the Gigesa community continues Ethiopia’s proud legacy of producing some of the most distinctive coffees in the world — fruit-forward, lively, and endlessly expressive.
