What makes 6 Beans Roasting different?

We’re a small, family-run coffee roaster based in Salmon Arm, BC. We focus on quality, consistency, and roasting coffee fresh so you get a better-tasting cup. We keep things simple: great beans, careful roasting, and straightforward service.

Where are you located?

6 Beans Roasting is based in Salmon Arm in the Shuswap region of British Columbia, Canada.

What kinds of coffee do you offer?

We offer a mix of:

  • Signature blends (including espresso options)
  • Single-origin coffees (rotating selections)
  • Decaf options
  • Seasonal / limited coffees when available
  • Fundraiser and partner coffees
Do you ship across Canada?

Yes — we ship across Canada. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout, and we may offer free shipping above a set order minimum (when available on the site).

How fresh is your coffee?

We roast coffee fresh and aim to get it to you quickly. For best flavour, most coffees taste great starting a few days after roast and for weeks after (stored properly in a cool, dry place with the bag sealed).

Do you offer whole bean and ground coffee?

We strongly recommend whole bean for maximum freshness and flavour. If a grind option is available on a specific product, you’ll be able to select it on that product page.

Are your coffees organic or certified?

Sometimes we carry coffees that are marked organic at the farm/export level, but 6 Beans Roasting is not a certified organic roastery. Our focus is on specialty-grade coffee and transparent sourcing when possible.

How do subscriptions work?

If subscriptions are enabled on a coffee, you can choose a delivery schedule at checkout. Subscription coffee is roasted fresh and shipped on your chosen cadence so you don’t run out.

Do you offer local pickup?

Local pickup may be available for select items or during certain times (such as markets or pickup arrangements). If pickup is available, you’ll see the option during checkout or on the product page.

Do you do coffee fundraisers for schools and teams?

Yes. We love partnering with local schools, PACs, sports teams, and community groups. We can set up a dedicated online fundraising page so orders are tracked automatically, then we roast and deliver when the fundraiser closes.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes — we can support cafés, offices, and retailers with wholesale coffee. If you’re interested, contact us and tell us what volumes and formats you’re looking for (e.g., 5 lb bags, case quantities, etc.).
