About:
Jaguara Farm is a 90-hectare family-run farm located in Campo das Vertentes, Minas Gerais. It was founded in 2001 by agronomist and researcher Antonio Wander alongside two fellow agronomists who shared a vision of growing exceptional Brazilian coffee.
In 2013, Antonio’s son André Luiz and Natália took over the farm, introducing sustainable growing practices designed to make the most of the region’s natural resources. This lot is composed of Yellow Catuaí grown at an altitude of 1,040 metres, with approximately 60% of the cherries picked by hand and 40% harvested mechanically.
Processed naturally, the coffee is dried for approximately seven days in a static drying box before spending another six days on the patio. The result is a smooth, full-bodied coffee with rich chocolate flavour, plum-like sweetness and a pleasantly sweet finish. It is an approachable and versatile Brazilian coffee that works beautifully as espresso, in milk-based drinks or as a comforting drip coffee.
