About:
From the lush highlands of Apaneca in western El Salvador comes a coffee as rich in history as it is in flavour. Grown on the slopes of Cerro De Las Ranas (“Hill of Frogs”), this small-lot coffee is cultivated in volcanic soil near a frog-populated lagoon — a fitting symbol for its vibrancy and depth.

This exceptional lot is brought to life by JASAL, a sixth-generation family farm run by Andres and Jose Jr. Salaverria. Their deep care for quality and community runs through every step — from attentive farming practices to worker welfare, including healthcare access, housing, and educational support.

JASAL's dedication to social responsibility and sustainable farming makes this coffee not just delicious, but meaningful. 💚☕

About the Process:
Yellow Honey (semi-washed): After harvesting, the cherries are de-pulped but allowed to dry with a significant amount of sticky mucilage still attached. This results in a cup that's beautifully sweet, with complex acidity and a creamy body. The combination of honey processing and high elevation delivers a balanced, fruit-forward cup that really shines.
