About:
This natural process lot from Uganda’s Nyakshenyi region delivers a bright and well-rounded cup with crisp citrus and layered fruit sweetness. Sourced from smallholder farmers in the Kigezi mountains, this coffee is carefully floated, hand-picked, and dried on raised beds before final processing at Kingha Estate.

From the Farmer / Importer:
Our relationship with the region began unexpectedly — a detour due to washed-out roads led us to discover this thriving coffee community. Since then, we’ve established a satellite station to ensure quality from the very first step. After initial sorting and drying in Nyakshenyi, the coffee is brought to Kingha Estate for extended drying, grading, and careful packaging in GrainPro to preserve its unique profile.

This standout lot — made up of SL 28, SL 34, and Nyasaland varieties — reflects Uganda’s emerging specialty scene, offering complexity, clarity, and a refreshing, fruit-forward cup.
