This Organic Nicaragua SHG-EP comes from the Unión de Cooperativas Agropecuarias San Juan del Rio Coco (UCA SJRC), founded in 1992 by members of 11 village co-operatives. Farmers bring their parchment coffee to central drying stations managed by coop experts, ensuring optimal quality and consistency. The washed process highlights the clean, balanced profile that Nicaraguan coffees are known for — smooth and refined, with a sweet nuttiness, creamy body, and bright citrus notes.

Strictly High Grown (SHG) indicates cultivation at 1,200+ meters above sea level, where cooler temperatures slow cherry maturation and produce denser, higher-quality beans. European Preparation (EP) means beans are screen 15+ and meticulously sorted for defects.
